Forty seven descendants of John Riley and Ann Kimmer Wright gathered at Estelle Wright’s Choptank home on Sunday July 30 for the sixth annual family reunion. A brief business meeting followed piano selections by Mara Wright Jump of Houston Delaware. Nellie Wright Jump presided as vice chair. Officers remaining in office. A buffet luncheon was served at 2 pm. Moving pictures of the group were made.

Teams from Mar Del and Bi State leagues will clash under lights at Centreville Park on Thursday Aug 17 in an All-Star game for the Damon Runson Cancer Fund. The Willis and Covell Company announces installation of a Berico Grain Drier by H. M. Shanzer Co of San Francisco. The oil heated unit dries 300 to 400 bushels per hour from a 6000 bushel steel tank and stores dried grain underground before loading to freight cars or bulk trucks for New York Pennsylvania New Jersey and lower Delaware. The new equipment complements a large corn shelter and truck dump to provide year round grain delivery access and invites visitors to tour the plant.
