Denton residents share a cautionary tale from a city dweller who values neighborly interest over urban isolation. He describes two years in a large apartment where no one knows his family, including a wife who was ill for two months, and notes upstairs neighbors did not notice. He advocates small towns as the best dwelling place for average families.
