In loving remembrance of Frank Murphy
In loving remembrance of my dear husband, Frank Murphy, who died at Easter-tide five years ago. The stars are dimly shining upon a lonely grave. Where sleeps without awakening One we loved but could not save. We have to mourn the loss of one We did our best to save. Beloved on earth, regretted, gone, Remembered in the grave. Why should our tears of sorrow flow When God recalls His own, 'And bids them leave a world of woe for an immortal crown? In the home of fadeless beauty He is now a shining star, Dwelling in the Holy City With the gates of gold.
