Volunteers Form Messiah Chorus At First Meeting
Twenty six singers from sopranos altos tenors and basses joined the initial gathering for the 1966 Messiah presentation. Local Youth Killed In Motorcycle Crash
A 17 year old rural Delphi senior John B Dubes died in a motorcycle crash on Indiana 25 three miles northeast of Lafayette Saturday night. He was taken to St Elizabeth Hospital where he died at 1 35 a m Sunday. He suffered a broken neck and skull fracture. The rider swerved to avoid Charley Phillips while Phillips left onto Heath Road. Surviving are his parents and six siblings. Funeral services were held at the Delphi Methodist Church with burial in Pittsburg Cemetery.
