Kirkendall Wins Michigan Varsity Night Event
University of Michigan freshman John Kirkendall from Burlington tied for first with junior Clark Bedford in the 18th annual At Campus Varsity Night. Kirkendall gave a five minute baton twirling exhibition. Bedford performed his own piano arrangements. Each won fifty dollars. The six acts were chosen by auditions. Burrows youths ordered to repair vandalized facilities
