Clarence Hop Newell 79 of route 1 Delphi died Monday night at Deer Creek Nursing Home after an extended illness. Born March 7 1873 he was the son of William Curtis and Dorothy Miller Newell. He never married and is survived by 18 nieces and nephews. Funeral rites will be held Thursday at 2 p m from Eikenberry Funeral Home with Rev Lloyd Dalquist officiating. Burial in Masonic Cemetery.
