About 200 Clay township residents attended a Thursday meeting at Owasco school to discuss merging with Owen and Ross townships of Clinton county. Delphi racer Ray Kenens survived a wall hit during Friday warmups at Alexandria with minor back and knee injuries. He returned Saturday to set a track record in trials, win a matched race and the feature, then on Sunday at Kokomo qualified in 18.94 seconds, winning the second feature after car trouble in the first.
