Miss Josephine Ruth Odell longtime Delphi resident died Wednesday morning at St Elizabeth Lafayette after months of ill health. Born July 24 1882 she taught in Cutler Rensselaer Newcastle Delphi Logansport for 35 years before retiring to her home in Delphi. She was a devoted sister daughter and teacher whose loss is deeply felt by family and friends.

Lafayette man pleads guilty in DWI case
Herbert L McKay of Lafayette formerly of Delphi pleaded guilty in Lafayette City Court to driving while intoxicated. He was sentenced to 100 days on the state penal farm fined 50 dollars and costs and had his license suspended for one year. The April 10 crash near Aretz Airport on highway 25 killed Merwin Longshore of Delphi who was a passenger in McKay's car.

Delphi high school prepares for 76 seniors to receive diplomas at graduation in the Delph Armory on Thursday night May 24. The event is a class project with no outside speaker. Auto Wreck Near Pittsburg Leads to Reckless Driving Charge
