Sixty four graduates received diplomas as Principal Harold Dick and Superintendent Royce Kurtz commended faculty members and the student speakers. Thirteen girls and eleven boys will attend the 1955 4-H Club Round-Up at Purdue University June 8 to 10. County Agent Harold Berry announced the trip sponsored by Carroll County Farm Bureau Co-Op. Delegates include Carroll county youths from Adams to Washington and are accompanied by Assistant County Agent Ted Brown and chaperones Marjorie Schnepf, Mrs. Joe Peterson, and Mrs. Lee Flora. Car Hurdles Into River Near Springboro Bridge
A 1952 Oldsmobile convertible driven by Ted Long twenty eight of Lafayette slid off highway 18 early Sunday. The car struck a stump in a side ditch and landed upside down in the river. Long crawled out through a hole in the roof and swam to shore with a slight cut on his leg. It took several hours to remove the wreckage.

East of town a Hereford steer heads to Flora for the Carroll County 4-H Fair. On Saturday he will be dressed as a bride and travel by special train to Delphi with a milk maid model as attendant.
