The State Highway Commission of Indiana seeks approval for a bridge plan crossing the Wabash River on State Road 39 between Delphi and Pittsburg. Mrs Hanna Robinson aged 80 died early Sunday at her daughter’s home near Delphi after a brief illness. She came to Delphi 51 years ago from Germany and was the widow of Albert Robinson. Nathaniel K. Dickey 91, the last Civil War veteran of Jackson township, died at his Camden home after a long illness. He served four years in Company F, 46 Indiana Volunteer Infantry and was wounded at Champion Hill. Funeral services were at Camden Baptist Church with full military honors by the Harry Bohanson Post American Legion Delphi and burial in Camden cemetery.

Francis Jordan Wirt known as Frank, Delphi poet and longtime county figure, died Monday at St Elizabeth hospital Lafayette after months of illness.
