Mrs. Carl Jones 47 wife of Carroll county farmer died at Home hospital after a stroke she suffered while visiting in Delphi. Born October 29 1910 she was daughter of Harry E and Mary Jane Reed. She leaves husband and daughter Jane Ann a Flora high school student. Funeral services were held at Eikenberry funeral home with Reader Jerry Ross officiating and burial in Masonic cemetery.

Born March 12, 1890 in the county, he was the son of Peter K. and Mary Burrows Wilson and married Nora Allbaugh on November 24, 1920. He was a retired civilian.

Bobby Toole 16 son of Mr and Mrs John Toole of Delphi is improving at St Elizabeth hospital Lafayette after a two car crash Sunday. He suffered fractured ribs and a punctured lung and was initially critical but now described as fair. Others in the crash were treated and released from hospitals.
