At Landrace sale Mr. and Mrs. Childers led the event consigning the top four boars with the highest bids. top boar sold for 300 dollars and second for 285 dollars. Childers also supplied the top selling open gilt and bought the champion open gilt. Out of town guests included the Yeomans and Browns from Kokomo and Indianapolis. Others attended a Lamb-Wentzel wedding and a surprise birthday dinner for Mrs. Harriett Reeder in Delphi and Logansport guests.
