Plans made for box social and dance. Third degree team toured Klondike with replacements due to illness. Savemen cut capes for third degree uniforms at Pittsburg school. Rotary Luncheon features Three Rivers Scout executive

George Fisher spoke at the De Luxe cafe urging stronger support for the local Scout troop and detailing Boy Scouts community service. St. Joseph's Study club met at the school hall with Miss Anna Lamb and Mrs. Roy Clauser hosting. Lamb led the prayer service and spoke on the Catholic press. Clauser discussed current Catholic events.

Mrs. Asa Cohee entertained at a February 9 euchre party honoring Mr. Cohee's birthday. Tri Kappa guests enjoyed a Valentine party Tuesday evening at Mrs John Smocks home. Miss Meredith Carney Ill After Throat Infection

Miss Meredith Carney convalesces at home from a severe throat infection and high fever. She and her mother traveled to Indianapolis last week for theater and a Sonja Henie review, then she fell ill Thursday and was admitted to St Vincent's hospital. She returned home Saturday and is improving.
