Gifts to State Hospital Sunday
Representatives from 13 Carroll County organizations will meet at Logansport State Hospital Sunday at 1 30 pm to distribute gifts to patients for two o'clock parties. Carroll County’s group is the largest in the district with entertainment by the Youngtowne Singers and the Delphettes from Delphi Community High School. Miss Gertrude Honan is a patient at St Joseph’s Hospital Logansport.

County Council Meets in Special Session Transfers Limited
The County Council met in a special session Monday and approved all transfer requests except for the County Home which sought funds for extra employee pay and travel expenses. They also established a county park board consisting of four members, two Democrats and two Republicans, to be appointed by the Judge on a staggered term basis.
Wilcox Sets Final Election Expense Filing Date
Clerk Frank Wilcox reminds candidates in the November 8 1966 General Election to file itemized campaign expense statements within 45 days after the election. The deadline is Friday December 23 1966 with exemptions for certain local offices.
