Former County Surveyor Ross Myer Dies by Suicide
Ross Myer fifty five, former county surveyor of Carroll and Tippecanoe counties, died by shooting himself in Lafayette. His body was found in his car near his home after family reported he failed to return for lunch. He had lived in Monroe and Burlington townships and was active in the Masons and Knights of Pythias. Poor health blamed for the tragedy.

Farmer jailed for drawing weapon on son in Flora quarrel
Lester Kingery, 59, of east of Flora, is jailed on a charge of drawing a dangerous weapon on his son John during a quarrel Saturday night in Flora. Mother of former Delphi school head dies at 95
Mrs. Charlotte Henderson, 95, died at Deaconess Hospital in Indianapolis. She was the mother of Prof. H. A. Henderson, former Delphi School superintendent. Prof and Mrs. Henderson and his aged mother spent summers at their cottage in Sunset Park on Lake Freeman. The body was taken to Goodman for burial.
