At Tuesday meeting the County Commissioners purchased a water cooler from Walter Clawson Appliances for the second floor of the courthouse. They spent the day on routine business and reviewed proposed county budgets.

A tractor driven by Robert S. Bowman route 3 Delphi collided with a car driven by Mabel E. Mullin route 3 Delphi at 10 15 Tuesday near the Bowman farm on highway 25 near Rockfield. Mullin’s car damage estimated at 400 dollars. Sheriff Carey investigated.
Mrs. Ted Williams was honored at a baby shower hosted by Mrs. John Roth and Mrs. John Roth's guests Carolyn Talbert and Patty Roth Lohrman. Games were played and punch and cake were served to 20 guests at the Roth residence.

Mayor Roy Clauser and Curtis McCain left Friday to spend several days with Clauser’s daughter Mrs. J. J. Rossbach and family in Omaha Nebraska. Mrs. Clauser who had been visiting the Rossbach family accompanied them home on Tuesday.
Mr and Mrs Norm Ebrite and family plan a weekend trip to Wisconsin. Mr Ebrite has worked this summer in Logansport at the Employment Office.
