Hugh Davies sold his tire and battery service station equipment to Emery Reynolds of Monticello. Reynolds transfers the tire repair machinery and battery charging apparatus to Monticello. Davies plans to join his father at Davies Oil Company, which runs over a hundred filling stations and wholesale plants, leaving Margowski’s corner space vacant and the city without a Firestone dealer.
Sylvester Robinson and Henry Fair escape with slight bruises after a collision. Fair loses a wheel. body and frame bent and twisted. Both drivers detained for examination.
Harry Gingrich took over Zook's meat market on the north side of the Delphi public square, with Henry Crone assisting in butchering and cutting. Crone recently sold his Main Street market to H. A. Pearson. The market has been renovated and redecorated as the new owner assumes control.
