Chester publica health chief Anne M. Aigner will retire at month end after 16 years guiding Community Nursing Service of Chester and Vicinity. Tony Salvatore will succeed her, bringing long service with CNS and a plans to continue joint efforts with CCMC and Sacred Heart Hospital.

Appeal rejected in assault theft conspiracy case
John Lennox 22 of Upper Darby had a second appeal rejected by Senior Judge Louis A Bloom. He was convicted of simple assault theft and conspiracy in the April 19 1976 incident involving Huey Lindsay a Widener College student. Sentencing set for 2 p.m. Thursday. Judge Labrum dissented from both rulings.
