Seventeen convicts who fled Eastham Prison farm last Tuesday saw progress in recapture efforts. Five were felled yesterday, with two more reported today. Fort Bend killer W C Gresham was seized near the prison farm, while Crockett youths J D Woodward Jr and A B Smith aided by recognizing a stolen truck driven by three escapees and forcing a pursuit two miles to halt them. Two convicts remaining at large fled into nearby woods.
