Dated June 2, 1925 the document includes three codicils and leaves the residuary estate to the Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial and to John D Rockefeller Jr. The third codicil places the residuary estate in trust for Rockefeller's granddaughter Mrs Margaret DeCuevas of Lakewood New Jersey with the trust heirs to receive on her death.
Austin reports over 200000 Texas cattle are being fattened for market in Texas feeding pens this year, up from a smaller figure last year. The Texas Planning Board credits an educational land use campaign and urges local experimentation to finish cattle in state for home consumption and Atlantic markets.

Twelve officials of the Townsend National Organization resigned today over repeated utterances attacking President Roosevelt and his administration attributed to Dr Francis E Townsend. J W Brinton, vice president and general manager, said the resignations were addressed to Dr Townsend and effective today, accepted verbally.
Four Del Ricans will travel to Port Arthur for the annual State Firemen's Association meeting in session Tuesday through Thursday. Delegates include Frank J. Schmidt the local fire chief and Frank Henning with Joe Youngblood and Bob Nicholson. Schmidt and Henning will depart by train Sunday morning while Youngblood and Nicholson drive overland.
Governor Allred announced plans to veto the 22 600 dollar annual appropriation for the state racing commission citing no need for continued operation after August 31. He says legalized wagering ends 90 days after the Legislature’s extraordinary session repeal and remains undecided on selling state owned stallions and jacks.
Authorities in Redding California renewed efforts to locate a woman and child believed aboard a burning passenger bus that overturned near Shiloah Springs. The incident left at least seven dead with possible toll reaching nine, according to R. C. Bennett, driver of another bus.

Governor Marland unveils a Stringtown State Prison Farm program to educate reformable convicts in agriculture. About 350 trustees will work on the site with unbarred barracks housing up to 1000 prisoners under an honor system. Graduates may lease state lands to secure farming jobs and start anew.
