Three local men John McMena in DeKalb Bennie A Staff of Sycamore and Nicholas C Fagar of Ottawa enlisted for locomotive engineer or fireman duty and will leave Sycamore Monday at 12:01 for Annapolis Junction Maryland for training. Eight telephone linemen were called to Camp Samuel B Mortis Leon Springs Texas with volunteers from DeKalb and Genoa. Shoop Vickery White Booth Hermanson Moulton and Paterson enlisted, with one vacancy remaining. those interested should apply at Sycamore board offices by ten oclock Saturday morning.
