Herbert Wells Fay former well known benefactor presented to the state of Illinois his Lincoln photos and relics to be added to the Lincoln collection. Governor Len Small accepted the items in two large auto trucks at the north entrance of the building at 9 45 with officials and photographers present. The collection includes an original negative of Lincoln valued at more than 15 000 and is to have a prominent place in the centennial building at Springfield.

Miss Edith Ablin of Maple Park dies in DeKalb city hospital after an operation for appendicitis. She was 25, survived by her father William Ablin, one sister Mrs Rose Ablin, and five brothers Albert Emil William Oscar and John. Funeral services announced for tomorrow at Maple Park Methodist Church.
