Allen Hinds 28, only son of Sarah Hinds, died at his South Fourth Street home after two weeks of illness that began with influenza and developed into pneumonia. He was a longtime DeKalb resident, active in fraternal circles, a former Masonic member, and survived by his mother. Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 2 PM with Masonic bodies in charge.
Amsterdam dispatch reports Count Karolyi Hungary’s prime minister attempted suicide Sunday. He was despondent over the political situation in Hungary, according to the Budapest report.

Washington Dec 10 President Wilson ordered a cabinet meeting by wireless later today with Vice President Marshall to preside. Lou Cornwall leaves for Marshall Illinois to take charge of the Wagner store for about one to ten days. The Man from Funeral Range at the Princess tonight.
The Leipziger Tageblatt, citing a wounded German officer, reports the former Kaiser tried to take his own life in recent days after a period of deep despondency. The officer said Wilhelm had been greatly discouraged and in frail spirits.
Berlin dispatch reports Karl Liebknecht declares refusal of peace with the entente and aims to overthrow the government within a fortnight. Martial law proclaimed in Berlin as clashes between Bolshevik forces and government troops continue. casualties exceed 220 killed and 1,000 wounded.

Tom Colvin and his son, badly hurt in an auto accident near Rensalaer Indiana the night before Thanksgiving, are to arrive home tonight in critical condition. They were visiting in Willisburg Kentucky and were returning home when the crash occurred. Relatives traveling with them will accompany the trip home.
