Lieutenant Colonel Harry Goodison recounts the White Bang Hill battle and the Marne along with captured German trophies to a DeKalb Armory audience. The event aims to boost the community’s war savings stamps quota of 50,000 and honor returning wounded with a message of sacrifice and resolve.

Tonight the DeKalb Military Band presents a 40 piece program under Ziegner Swanson at the Armory. Chicago baritone John Stack will sing selections and a 20 piece orchestra will accompany dancers into the late hour. Community singing by Prof. A Neil Annas rounds out the program as a full evening of music and dance.
