Mrs Durland Passes Away After Long City Residence
Mrs. T. B. Durland, a 36 year resident, died Sunday morning at her Clinton New York nephew Wayne Palmer’s home. She had left the community late last year to spend remaining days with family. Her death shocked many friends who recall her pleasant personality and charitable nature.

Four DeKalb youths were injured but not seriously in a Sunday night automobile accident on Elburn corners. Passengers in a Pontiac coach, Hazel Jensen, Vivian Pahaly, Malcomb Holcomb, and Everett Hurst, were forced from the car after it struck a Ford with no lights and rolled into a ditch. Jensen sustained a deep knee cut, to be X-rayed. Holcomb, an agent for a Chicago newspaper, suffered a hip injury and remains home for a few days.
