Ezra Meeker, famed pioneer and symbol of westward immigration, died in Seattle at 4:05 p.m. at age 93 after a long life that followed the Oregon Trail from Missouri River crossings to a prairie schooner revival and a final airplane journey. He leaves three daughters and a son.
