Gwendolyn Marie Davidson younger child of Mr. and Mrs. Orville Davidson died at their North First Street home this morning. The 13 day old girl had been ill since birth and funeral services were held this afternoon with burial at Fairview. The Davidson family receives the community’s sympathy.

Kingston Jamaica December 4 Captain Thomas Sucherhue pilot of the steamer Schoolcraft emulated Jim Bludso and held her nose against the bank in peril of his life at the wheel. He was fined $10 and costs in police court this morning and, having no money, will have to work it out. He will be held about days.
Harry J. Olson has accepted a cashier position in the secretary of state’s office in Springfield. He will oversee funds from automobile licenses as traffic grows, keeping the department busy. Weather outlook for Illinois shows cloud cover, cooler tonight with rain in the northeast. Sunday expected partly cloudy and cooler in the southeast.
