Williams County Prosecution Star Hunted But Reinstated

OHN M. BAILLITS, Republican nominee for judge of the court of common pleas for Defiance Paulding and Williams counties, born October 7, 1858, in Lithopolis Ohio, educated at Williams College and Columbian University, built a legal career in Bryan and Washington. His tenure as Williams County prosecutor featured high conviction rates, dramatic Elkins Plummer cases, and a protracted political fight culminating in restoration and rising civil practice. He married Alice N. Steuart in 1887 and has two daughters.

Bevington Judge John H. Bevington Dies at 75 in Defiance

Judge John H. Bevington died at his Wayne street home Thursday night after eight weeks illness. Born June 5 1826 in Wayne County he married Hester Ann Donwell Nov 6 1851. He served as county treasurer probate judge and board of education member and oversaw local school building projects. He leaves a wife and three children and is buried in Riverside cemetery.

Infant of Mr and Mrs Hill Dies on Ft Wayne Road

A ten month old child of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hill died at their home on the Ft Wayne road west of the city at noon Thursday. Funeral services are set for 10 a.m. Saturday.
