Passenger trains to be started on Faurot line to Defiance
Colonel Hobart states passenger trains will begin on or near the 15th of this month on the Faurot line to Defiance. He doubts an earlier start but promises no firm date before the 15th. He rejects electric traction, citing dependence on connecting lines and freight focus as justification. He notes 30 cars from Defiance today and freight charges over $300 with rising business. He claims the Columbus and Lake Michigan line will prove profitable once regular service begins.
