Boy Shot Accidentally In Hunting Incident
Oscar Seibel fourteen year old son of Adam Seibel of 740 Perry street was accidentally shot while hunting in Hudson woods with two or three companions. A 22 caliber revolver discharged and bullet penetrated the palm of his right hand but did not pierce the skin on the back. He was taken home and the bullet removed by a physician. Mr and Mrs James Husted of Montpelier visited relatives Friday.

City Council Approves Salary Increases For City Workers
Tuesday's brief meeting saw a first reading of a resolution by Frank Sommer from Chicago to raise wages for city employees. Common laborers would go from 1.50 to 1.75 per day, teamsters from 3.00 to 3.50, sidewalk superintendent from 40 to 50 a month, and the street commissioner from 50 to 60.
