JC Weis of Lakeside was arrested Monday on a war rant secured by Deputy Marshal Dimon charging him with arson in the Lakeside cottage blaze. Wells owned a cottage at the Lakeside Methodist camp and the fire on November 17 destroyed five cottages. A daughter who caused Weis’s arrest for assault provided the key information for the case.
