Steps Collapse Injures Two Men At Street Carnival
At a city street carnival on Fifth and Clinton two bicycle steps failed sending Arthur Rose and Johnnie Route plummeting about thirty feet. Rose sustained a broken forearm, dislocation, and shock. Route suffered a deep forehead gash and a split finger, both bruised. Rose faces about two months off work. Route will remain bedridden for at least a week. Nat Reiss paid Route’s medical bill.
