Defiance Republicans nominate Crowe for state legislature
In Defiance County a large Republican convention nominated John Crowe of Melrose as the party’s candidate for the state legislature. The gathering endorsed the Toledo platform, pledged support for canal and waterway interests, and unani mously backed Crowe along with other county ticket selections.
