Lucky Escape When Safe Washed Down Stairs
Mr J P Cameron, partner at Cameron and Enos, narrowly escaped injury when a new 2500 pound safe on the stairs tumbled down the office stairs. The rope snapped as he blocked the safe, and the instrument slid to the sidewalk leaving a two foot deep ply. The safe was damaged but repairable.
