Do you belong to writing school join at once at Jones school house. Little daughter of P L Anderson died recently. Sympathy for Mr Anderson. Mrs T Jones ill, left home, found barefoot in Paulding, nearly chilled, now poor health. Sumner Johnson's house occupied again. George Osman adds to his barn. Majority of Milford schools in session. Fred Grandy in charge of township library. Miss Side Otis visits Stark county next month. Cicero post office to be located at Jonas Miller's soon. Mrs George Osman visits sister near Garrett this week. Cottage prayer meeting at Andrew Headley’s Saturday evening. Orley Crary still poorly, may see physician in Grand Rapids. R J Battershall moved to Hicksville to clerk for G K Otis. School board resolutions about use of school houses receive little attention. Universalist church leased by U B denomination, under repair. Sunday school and meeting held in school house while church repairs. Slauson Smith and family drove from Montpelier to Hicks ville to meet daughter in northern Nebraska.

Blizzard Tells of Busy Corn Season In Village

A blizzard struck this section Thursday night as residents report ongoing corn husking activity. Mrs. Wm Shupp remains under a doctor's care for asthma. The Highland Center debating society reorganized for the winter season last Saturday. Various residents including Kinnie Adams John Thacker and Rev Snodgrass are noted in local visits and travels.
