Convention Adopts Rules and Names Officers for Tournaments
A state convention appointed a rules committee with 22 members from various departments. It also formed committees on conventions finance and resolutions, adopted steam engine rules, adjusted water throw time to five minutes, and set eligibility for hose companies. Officers elected include President J H Foster, Vice President W H Kissinger, Treasurer D White, and Secretary H H Schriner. Shelby chosen for next convention site.
