Defiance’s Hoffmann and Geiger stand tallest among manufacturing and wholesale establishments. From a small start to Perry street factory work, they now produce furniture in volume with skilled staff and a large engine drive. Finished goods reach the Opera House block showroom, with prices down about 25 percent. They offer custom lines and aim for strong seasonal sales, serving Defiance and neighboring counties as a premier Northern Ohio provider.

Potter committee to investigate muley cow bought from a cap in North Richland. H Brubaker Walter Brubaker and John Stout left for the far west seeking success but regretted leaving early.
