The maps drawn by the geograph class are worthy of commendation. Prof. Hogue has returned from Chautauqua. He was the only representative of Defiance county at State Teachers' Association. The literary society was highly entertained by Lee Moore last Wednesday evening and by F. W. Knapp Esq. The class in school management discussed how to detect offenders and proper punishments of the school room. They are studying the objects of the recitation and the best methods of conducting it.
