Ditching continues with good weather and improving roads. P. E. Crago, age 80, hopes to be out on crutches again soon after a rough week. Several locals announce movements homeward or to new farms, while others host visitors and attend sales. Farm activity includes plowing for spring, and three families plan to move to West Point Mississippi after buying land nearby.
Steward Gaylord visited Cleveland last week. E B Smith of Lima visits friends here. Mr Rimer sold his 120 acre farm to Mr Reibly and plans to move in spring. An entertainment at the Free Baptist church on Thursday night December 29 will be literary and musical, led by G E Myers of South Bend. Admission is 10 cents. Proceeds go to church store payment.

Wood chopping for church benefit at Sharon. Michael Doenges and wife visited L. V. Mansfield. T. H. Mansfield sold ten head of sheep to his brother for 25 dollars. Mrs John Boggs Sr of Putnam county dies at 72, leaving many friends.
