Cyclone Hits Collinsville Wrecks Homes And Kills Child
A northwest cyclone struck Collinsville Illinois at 2:45 PM tearing through the town in minutes. Ten buildings were demolished and about seventy five residences and businesses damaged with one child killed and a girl named Annie Reynolds among the injured. Mayor Wadsworth and local men led rescue work as families searched for loved ones and debris was cleared.
