Astroworld Opens 1000 Jobs For 1969 Season
Astroworld seeks more than 1,000 young people for the 1969 season. Interviews run daily at the park’s Kirby Drive offices with no appointment needed. Open hours include Friday evenings and weekend daytime slots from April 5, when the season begins.

Deer Park School Luncheon Menu for February Week
The February school lunches feature a weekly menu from Monday to Friday. Dishes include Chicken Fried Steak, Spaghetti and Meat Sauce, Beef Tips on Rice, Charbroil Burgers, and Fish Fillet with sides like vegetables, potatoes, beans, and desserts such as fruit, cake, and cobbler.

Sealed bids to be addressed to the Mayor and City Council of Deer Park Texas for all petroleum products used by the city will be received at City Hall until 5 00 PM on Tuesday March 11 1969. Bid proposals and specifications available from the City Secretary. The city may reject any or all bids waive technicalities and accept the bid or part deemed most advantageous.
