The Deer Park Riding Club Drill Team will perform at the Houston Livestock and Rodeo Show on Thursday February 27 under new Drillmaster Jack Bowden who follows H B Morland who resigned at the club Christmas Party. Morland received an engraved belt buckle for four years of leadership during last Sundays practice. If you plan to attend the rodeo consider the Deer Park showcase.
In Deer Park Deepwater the Girl Scouts held a parade at Town Plaza Center to Civic Center, drawing about 300 girls and 150 adults.
