The 6th annual Deer Park Chamber of Commerce Fall Festival returns with a packed program including a four man skydiving exhibition, live bands, square and folk dancing, a flea market auction, karate and a magic show. About 50 booths will draw thousands to Dow Park behind the Community Center.
Four skydivers from Houston Parachute Service in La Porte will meet attendees and answer questions from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Deer Park Fall Festival on Saturday October 23. They will then board a plane for a 7500 foot jump over Dow Park and execute a 30 second free fall before landing on a festival ground target. The team has logged over 2000 free fall jumps and includes Sid Protho Steve Capps Bob Wilson and Mike Neidigh.
