The Progress highlights Deer Park and La Porte High School graduates this week. Consumer alert on itinerant auctions and resale scams
Attorney General warns buyers to expect final sales with little recourse at short lived hotel and estate auctions. Sellers may travel with no local address and use different business names, making post sale returns or care difficult. Consumers should inspect items carefully, compare with reputable shops, and contact the Consumer Protection Division with complaints.
