Notice to bidders for game equipment Deer Park Texas

Sealed bids addressed to the mayor and city council of Deer Park Texas for furnishing game equipment to the parks and recreation department must be received by 5 00 PM June 10 1973 at Deer Park City Hall 1302 Center Street. Liquid Oxygen Bid For Waste Water Plant

Liquid oxygen will be furnished for the Deer Park Waste Water Disposal Plant at 102 Ken Tuky Street. The beds begin at 7 30 PM on June 10, 1975. Council favors the city.

Deer Park Chamber Family Day Picnic Planned

The Deer Park Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual Family Day picnic on June 29 at Camp Manison from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Activities include swimming, many games, a hayride, and lunch features sausage links barbecue beef potato salad red beans pickles onions and lemonade. Tickets are 5.25 per person and available at the Chamber office or by phone. A general membership luncheon is set for noon June 5 at Monument Inn with one free lunch ticket per member. additional reservations by phone.

Parkwood Holds Zulu Party

Second grade students at Parkwood Elementary attended a Zulu party presented by music teacher Mrs. Wanda Robertson and second grade teacher Mrs. Kathy Bryant. They wore African clothing, painted faces, sang songs, played instruments, and tasted African foods while learning about the land animals and people of Africa.

Deer Park seniors prepare for graduation and new leaders

Students at Deer Park celebrate a week of banquets as seniors face exams and change. Exempt seniors with 84 average and three absences finish public school, while underclassmen await one more week. German Club officers for next year include Bobby Miller president and Bobby Dover vice president. Dana Thiessen treasurer and Karen Wainwright secretary. Parliaments and reporters Randy Williams and Steve Noah. Thespian officers Denise Tittle president, Rusty Holmes vice president, Gina Taylor treasurer, Sheree Kemp secretary.

Pasadena theatre offers summer drama classes for youths

Tulip Street Playhouse presents Theatre Academy of the Dramatic Arts sessions from June 8 to July 9 and July 14 to Aug 13. Classes for children and teens run 1 pm to 2 30 pm on Monday Tuesday and Wednesday with topics in creative dramatics body movement diction oral interpretation voice projection mime ensemble acting and directing.
