Construction Worker Injured At School Site
Hugh Wilson Brooks of Friendswood was injured at the new high school site on June 7 when a brace column fell. He was taken to Pasadena General Hospital, removed from the critical list, and doctors reported he is improving and doing well.

Deer Park council approves 3500 transfer for inspections
The council approved moving 3500 from the Contingency Fund to the Inspections Department to handle higher electrical inspection needs amid a building boom.
