Eli Hudson, his wife Norma and their three daughters moved from Pasadena to College Park in 1965. Bayshore District Boy Scouts will lease an 80 acre wooded tract near Clear Lake City Bayport from Friendswood Development Company for one dollar a year to create Camp Friendswood. The site between NASA's Lunar Science Institute and Forest Lake will host 50 plus units and is open to scouts beyond Houston. The ceremony for the camp, named at the Scouts' request, is set for Friday June 4 at 11 a.m. with NASA dignitaries, scouts, and local officials present.
