Explosion Injures Fireman Fighting Auto Fire on Highway 225
Volunteer fireman David Malone was burned when an aerosol de-icer can exploded during an automobile fire on Highway 225. The car had a tire blowout and was struck by a truck, catching fire. Passengers Alton Britt Roy Britt Kathy Stone escaped with minor injuries. Malone was treated at Southmore Hospital and released.
