Christmas calls to be cheaper this year by Southwestern Bell
Southwestern Bell says long distance calls will be discounted 35 percent for all out of state calls on December 24 during the day. Regular weekend rates apply all day since Christmas is on Saturday. Overall costs rise about nine percent from last year. Best calling times on Christmas Day are before 8 a.m., 2 to 5 p.m., and after 9 p.m.
