A Herbert Hoover telegram publicized last week sets sweeping wheat flour rules effective September 1. Mixed flours must follow per centage ratios, be labeled Victory Mixed Flour, and milled to government standards. consumers must mix at least 20 percent cereal substitutes in wheat flour for home use.
The new manpower registration will require men aged 18 to 45 to provide extensive personal data. The card lists twenty questions on citizenship nativity occupation employment and employer names plus relatives and mailing address to improve contact with registrants and exemption boards.
